21-23 NOVEMBER 2014 SEED GROWING AND VARIETY PROMOTION MEETING
Tarım Kredi Tohumculuk A.Ş. "Seed Evaluation and Variety Promotion Meeting" was organized by A.Ş. between 21-23 November 2014 in Güre / Edremit / Balıkesir. Chair-man of the Guidance and Inspection Board of the Central Union of Tarım Kredi Kooperatifleri and Tarım Kredi Tohumculuk A.Ş. attended the meeting. Deputy Chair-man of the Board of Directors Bülent İŞKÜR, Head of Supply and Marketing Depart-ment Nejdet DİRİK, Tarım Kredi Tohumculuk A.Ş. Approximately 460 people attended, including Board Member 2nd Legal Counsel Mücahit ÇETİN, Balıkesir Regional Man-ager İshak GÜNDÜZ, Production and Evaluation Manager Yaşar BOSTANCI, Regional Deputy Managers, Chiefs and Kooperatif officials. Following the infor-mation given by General Manager Burhanettin TOPSAKAL about the company's activi-ties, Supply Marketing Department Head Nejdet DİRİK talked about the importance of seed growing in Tarım Kredi Kooperatifleri and the place and importance of Tarım Kredi Tohumculuk A.Ş. in this regard. Explaining that Tarım Kredi Kooperatifleri Affili-ates organize the market in favor of farmers and partners, DİRİK also drew attention to the contributions of these meetings to sales and marketing. Then Tarım Kredi To-humculuk A.Ş. Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Bülent İŞKÜR, after giving information about the past and present of Tarım Kredi Kooperatifleri, stated that es-pecially young personnel should always look forward with hope, and that a stable growth continues in Tarım Kredi Kooperatifleri and their Subsidiaries.

After the opening speeches, technical presentations began.
Tarım Kredi Tohumculuk Deputy General Manager Kamil YILMAZ Overview of the Seed Sector and Tarım Kredi Tohumculuk A.Ş. After giving information about seed growing activities, company officials introduced varieties on the basis of production, breeding and plant type. At the end of the meeting, a general evaluation was made about seed growing with the participants in the form of questions and answers, moderated by Nejdet DİRİK, Head of Supply and Marketing Department.
Following the meeting, Tarım Kredi Tohumculuk A.Ş. Participants who visited the Corn Seed Processing and Packaging Facility in Altınova/Ayvalık were informed about the studies.
