New Kernel Corn Variety TK KUM Field Day was Held.
The trial planting of TK KUM, developed at our company's Altınova Breeding Station and registered by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, was done in the field of Ercan KORAŞAN, one of the partners of Mustafabeyli Tarım Kredi Kooperatifi affiliated with our Regional Union.
TK KUM variety impressed with its low humidity and high yield per unit area.
It is expected that our TK KUM variety, which was introduced at a field day event on 17.08.2022, will yield above the regional average with 1.650-1700 kg/da.
Central Union Contracted Production and Product Procurement Manager Oktay Erkılıç, TAREKS Sales and Marketing Manager Tolga Karadeniz, TAREKS Regional Manager Faruk Çelik, Regional Union personnel, agricultural engineers and officials of the sur-rounding cooperatives and farmers attended the field day of the new seed variety, which was sown on trial.
