LEADER IN SILAGE EFFICIENCY TOHUM TK 6063
Our company Tarım Kredi Tohumculuk A.Ş. was established in the field of Muhsin KARAKILIÇ, one of the partners of Susurluk Tarım Kredi Kooperatifi No. 257, affiliated with Balıkesir Regional Union of Tarım Kredi Kooperatifleri. A yield trial was conduct-ed on TK 6063 silage corn seed, which was bred and developed at the Altınova Re-search Station by TK 6063.
In this model production area, planting was done on 11.05.2021 and harvest was carried out on 19.08.2021. Tarım Kredi Kooperatifleri Balıkesir Regional Deputy Man-ager Gökhan AVCI, Susurluk Tarım Kredi Kooperatifi Manager Erdal UÇAR, TAREKS Re-gional Managers Saffet KILIÇ, Yalçın İlker GÜNDÖNER and farmers in the region partic-ipated in the field harvest.
By applying an effective fertilization program in accordance with soil analysis values, it is aimed to reveal the performance of the variety by applying the right fertilizers at the right time. In the region where the average silage in the surrounding area is 7-7.5 tons/da, approximately 20% more efficiency was achieved, resulting in a silage yield of 9,100 kg/da.
In addition to the high quality values of TK 6063 hybrid corn seed in terms of nutri-tional values, its high yield per unit area is also impressive. In the light of this data, it has become clear once again how important it is to choose the right seed and carry out an effective fertilization program.
